What is Nuke Connect?
NukeConnect is a Professional Network for the Nuclear Industry. NukeConnect makes it easy for you to manage your career, connect with other Nuclear Industry Professionals, and to stay informed about the latest news and education in our industry.
Why would I want to Create a Profile on Nuke Connect?
By maintaining a current profile on NukeConnect, you will be visible to other industry professionals who may want to connect with you. Connecting with other people in your industry can help you in your current job and can give you the networks you need to succeed in your industry. Having a profile can also expose you to new career opportunities that you otherwise would not be aware of.
Who will see my profile and contact information?
Your general profile will be visible to any user on NukeConnect. However, your contact information (name, phone number, and email address) will only be shared with other users who you are “Connected” to.
What happens when I send a Connection Request?
When you send a Connection Request to another user, that user will receive an email communication with your request. They may accept or decline your request. If they accept your Connection Request, contact information and name will be exchanged between you and the other user. If your Connection Request is declined, no information will be exchanged.
What do I do if someone sends me a Connection Request?
When you receive a Connection Request from another user, you may accept or decline the request. If you accept the Connection Request, contact information and name will be exchanged between you and the other user. If you decline the Connection Request, no information will be exchanged, and the other user will not be notified that you declined.
What are Connection Credits?
Connection Credits are what you use to send Connection Requests to other users, to Instant Connect to other users, or to purchase other services on NukeConnect. Each time to you use one of these services on NukeConnect, your Connection Credit account will be debited. NukeConnect will normally issue you complimentary connection credits when you first create your profile. You are welcome to purchase more connection credits at any time through the website.
What is Instant Connect?
Instead of sending a Connection Request, you can instantly connect to other users by using Instant Connect. Instant Connect normally requires more Connection Credits than a Connection Request, but it allows you instant access to contact information for other users on the site.
What if I use my Connection Credits on a Fraudulent Profile?
NukeConnect provides fraud protection. If you use Connection Credits to connect to another user, and you think that that user profile is fraudulent, you may request to have NukeConnect return the Connection Credits that you used to connect to that profile.
